Splicing Workshop 15-16th July 2017

Join us for two days of training that will introduce rope handling, measurement, splice tools, double braid, hollow braid & 16 strand rope splicing techniques.
Participants will be guided through each stage of producing high quality, strong & reliable splices for arborist use.
This course is suitable for complete beginners to splicing but will also be useful for those wanting to refine and improve their existing knowledge and maybe try different approaches.
Equipment needed:
scissors, 2 sailmakers needles, whipping twine, sailmakers palm, tape measure, wire fid, pliers, splicing pick (marling spike).
You are welcome to bring your own equipment, however, should you wish to purchase the above as a kit we are able to offer a £10 discount on the normal price (see options above).
